Atkins has the Answer!    Spring Start-Up Our spring start-up consists of the following: Turn on the water supply and check for leaks. Check all sprinkler heads for proper operations and adjustment. Test automatic control valves for proper operation. Set controller for early spring watering schedule. Replacement heads or other parts will be billed separately. Backflow Inspection (if required, will be performed at the same time as start-up) The Department of Natural Resources and the State of Missouri mandate the annual inspection and certification of all backflow preventers. In 2004, the City of Columbia stopped offering this as a free service. Atkins has several experienced & certified inspectors available to perform this service. Typically the inspection is done along with the spring start-up of your sprinkler system, but can be done at any time.   next->
